Paul D. Rosenberg Esq.
Paul D. Rosenberg has over 25 years of legal experience in the areas of Federal income and estate and gift taxation. Mr. Rosenberg practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, probate law, elder law, IRA planning, corporate, partnership and individual taxation. His practice encompasses business law and contracts, entity formation, succession planning, business entity mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions, and handling controversies between taxpayers and the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies.
Mr. Rosenberg was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University (B.A. 1972 and MBA - Accounting 1974), where he was admitted to Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. He graduated from New York Law School (J.D. 1983). Mr. Rosenberg obtained a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University in 1987. He is a member of the Bar of the States of New Jersey (1983) and New York (1984), U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey (1984), U.S. Tax Court (1984) and the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd circuit (1985).
Paul is also a Certified Public Accountant (previously worked for Price Waterhouse & Co.) and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. He is a member of the American and New Jersey Bar Associations and is also a member of NAELA (National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to speaking on various estate planning and income tax topics to attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and business owners he has taught in the Masters of Financial Services program at New Jersey City University and at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s paralegal program. Paul has spoken on various topics at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Paul was President of Congregation Beth Hatikvah in Chatham, New Jersey where he is a founding member. He was Vice President of both Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Board of Governors (Alumni Association) and the New Jersey Center for Family Studies. His two children, Aaron and Rachel, are graduates of Tufts University and the University of Rhode Island. Paul lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
